Yup. I don't think Kyle is fine with either of two guys. He knows what the Jets are doing and knows his guy will be there at #3. At that point he ponied up the price to get to number 3.

I generally love this type of activity, but I absolutely hate this deal.
Trading 3 1st rd picks for Lawrence is one thing, and even Wilson maybe, but the # 3 pick???
Justin Fields will be, at best, a backup in this league. He is Dwayne Haskins part 2- put up huge numbers against the awful team that make up the Big Ten. I hope to God he isn't the pick.
Trey Lance is a myth. Who has actually what he's this guy play a football game against a team anyone has heard of
That only really leaves Mac Jones- who I do like but this is an awful lot to pay for him.
My only hope is that Saleh has given Shanahan some insight into what the Jets will do with #2, and they don't plan on taking Wilson.
If not, this will be the move that Shanahan and Lynch get fired over
