I think we trade back with Carolina for three years worth of 1sts and pick top 10 each year instead of the original #12 this year and #32 the next two.

I'd love it. However, w/out Wilson in the picture, I think that's highly unlikely.

Sadly I agree, but do enjoy how 4th-dimensional-chess that would be.

Amazing! No one's in his face of course. But, that's amazing.

The most accurate passers are Wilson and Jones. Personally I prefer Wilson because he is mobile, but I dont think that will happen. Not sold on Lance or Fields at this point.

But those will be the choices.

I highly doubt that. IF he's the pick (big if), then it seems like a bad trade. But I think Jones was going top 7 or 8.

Fields had the second highest adjusted compl % in college football this past yr at 80.8 % he is MORE than accurate.

his avg depth of target was almost 2 yards more than Jones on top of it.
Trying not to overthink it, but I am guessing they wanted to go up and the price at that point was negligible whether it was pick 3, or 4, or 5 etc. We assume Trevor and Qilson 1 & 2. So we go to 3 and pick who WE want. Just makes sense.

daaaam if we had that guy on this team.....just hand us the trophy we can skip the stompings

That kid is cut pretty well.

if he didn't look and even act like such a douche, he would be my favorite prospect (outside of Lawrence) in this draft class. He's got some Johnny football in him

Explain that. I don't see it.

well the look is obvious

Watson is gone like tears in the rain, y'all have got to get over it

Starting to get nervous about Mac Jones. I really like the dude but he isn't trade up to top 3 good. I'd really love to have a QB that can threaten to get to the edge, it would make our offense even more scary.

Of the teams picking 1-11 (Miami and Cincy not in the loop), with the possible exception of the Lions, there isn't a single one that would not pick Jones over who they have now.

Zach Wilson will be taken at 2, he is just too good.

Lance is too raw and huge gamble for Lynch to trade that far up for.

Its quite possible the Jets fall in love with Trey Lance.

The fact that there are potentially 3 quarterbacks we are talking about taking with the 3rd pick... does that speak to the talent of the top qb prospects in this draft or to the importance of needing an elite quarterback in this league?

All of the above. Though I think Lance is a major beneficiary of Josh Allen having a big year. Fields to me is a lot more proven, having played big on the biggest stages while still being a tremendous athlete with a big arm as well.

Kyle has worked with Fields too. He does a lot of the stuff Kyle values in a QB as well.

It makes sense.
I wonder if this was the plan all along, not long ago the 49ers interviewed Olave from Ohio state.... Justin fields favorite receiver last year.... the writing is on the wall we're gonna get fields and his fo to guy to replace Bourne

I wonder if Kyle knows that the Jets are not taking Wilson.
