I don't know if the QB will be worth the trade but I do love the Niners going for it...Bet Big WIN Big....
I think they will draft Fields. I don't see Jones warranting a trade up to #3 when they could of traded to 6 for less.

Zach Wilson will be taken at 2, he is just too good.

Lance is too raw and huge gamble for Lynch to trade that far up for.

Its quite possible the Jets fall in love with Trey Lance.

Not happening - if they take a QB it's Wilson

💯 Agree. The only issue for the Jets is they may have to take Lawrence. That's a nice problem to have.

I wonder if Kyle knows that the Jets are not taking Wilson.
all of them were all chummy together on the sidelines watching Wilson ..
That's because they know the Jets are taking Wilson and 49ers are taking.....
They know.. it's only a secret to us
if we tried to trade with nyj then you know they are 100% taking a qb , and it's obviously wilson.

Starting to get nervous about Mac Jones. I really like the dude but he isn't trade up to top 3 good. I'd really love to have a QB that can threaten to get to the edge, it would make our offense even more scary.

Agree. I'd like Mac Jones also, but he might have been had at 12, and very likely could be available at 6, which the Dolphins just acquired from Philadelphia. The draft capital seems too rich to justify a selection of Jones. In my opinion the value given was too much for Lance or Fields also. Now that the happy gas is wearing off, I'm a little concerned on this deal.

Agreed, for what we gave up the only one I'd be happy with is Wilson. I could be wrong on Fields but I wouldn't have given that much up for him, seems too risky. I really hope the Jets surprise everyone and not take Wilson.

Is it stupid to think it's for a pass rusher opposite Bosa at #3...

Considering none in this class are worth a top 10 pick, let alone 3rd overall? Yes.

Wait until Fields shows off next week.

Right. Flavor of the day.

He's handsome enough to take Jimmy G's spot
The more I think of it I'm not so sure who the pick is. If the 49ers were trying to acquire the 5th overall pick, then the guy they wanted isn't fields or Wilson...does that leave lance who maybe they thought wouldn't make it out of the top 10?

Yep. You can't win if you don't play

I agree. Fields is a 2nd or 3rd round for me. Wilson or Lawrence for me at that high.

Amazing! No one's in his face of course. But, that's amazing.

Wow! That's like a CP3 alley oop to Shaq. In stride on point! Jags have a real problem with their #1 pick

That's what I'm saying!

Thing is, 49ers didn't discuss a trade with the New York Jets.

Which means

1) They know they Jets are taking Wilson OR
2) They know the Jets are not taking Wilson

By deduction they know who Jets are taking and they know who they are taking.
Now after watching Zach Wilson's pro day, I don't see how the Jets can pass on him. He is a special. Do, now it's on to watch some of Justin Fields.
Someone else said it...it was a lot to pay to move up for an unknown quantity at the pro level.

I can't shake the feeling they know exactly who they're getting.
