What most are missing is they've been trying to trade up into the top 5. Not 3. They got 3 but if they were willing to do 5, that tells you they probably weren't considering Wilson. In fact, at 5, they could have been down to the #5 QB...which would be Mac.

I agree. Fields is a 2nd or 3rd round for me. Wilson or Lawrence for me at that high.

Has to be Wilson, no way Lawrence falls to 3, it'd be nice but Jets would grab him if the Jags are dumb enough to not take him.

Which means

1) They know they Jets are taking Wilson OR

Pro day is scripted passes with familiar receivers when was the last time a top qb had a bad pro day, they don't mean much IMO

If you like him and you knew that other teams were trying hard to move up, maybe you make that final push before he blows the doors off at his Pro Day? I expect him to put on a show.
