It's pretty safe to assume that Trevor Lawrence goes 1, and likely either Fields or Wilson goes 2, but just in case either falls, I'll put them as options, which of those QB's do you just vehemently oppose at the number 3 spot and why? I've seen people go Fields, and some people even say Lance is better than Fields. Makes me curious who the fan base hates and why.
Whoever is the least mobile. Not sure who that would be. I def want the most mobile QB we can get
Only wilson would be worthy.

They must have three guys they're comfortable taking.

Please for the love of god don't let it be Jones
Wilson > Lance > Fields > Jones

This is such an interesting take for me. Fields played on a pro like team. Balled in his bowl game. Played against elite players. Yet the guy that played against lesser players, is the guy people want. I'm not knocking Lance, just interesting that people feel this way about Fields.

This x 1 billion. Stupid trade unless they know their guy is available. You don't trade up hoping to pick up any qb available. Dumb.
Jones lol
Lol lots of hearts are probably going to be broken. Jones makes the most sense in terms of Shanahan's previously stated preferences and previously stated words about the risk of first round QBs. Jones is often considered the "low-ceiling, high-floor" guy after all, and he's kind of a Matt Ryan clone.

*Assuming the Jets take Wilson, of course.

But do you really give up that much draft capital to take "the safe guy"?
I'm cool with whoever Shanahan picks. Its his job on the line, not mine. Can't get more motivated then that.

Puzzled by this too. I watch a ton of NDSU. Lance for the level of competition played on a much more stacked team than anyone else and by far has thrown the fewest passes. I wouldn't put him ahead of Fields who is significantly more accomplished but just as athletically gifted.

Lance might have the biggest upside but also has the strongest odds of doing a complete face flop in the NFL.

This but it'll take some getting over preconceived notions for me if it's Mac.

There's the other side of the coin: do you RISK that much capital on a guy who isn't least likely to bust?

Additionally, there's the point that Jones isn't some Chad Pennington. He can make every throw, and he has made some GREAT throws as well.

And if he's the Shanahan archetype, there's reason to believe Atlanta might have wanted him.

So, if I were people here, I'd brace myself emotionally for Jones.
