Meltdown in here is going to be epic when it's Mac Jones and Jimmy next year.

Deadly accurate, gets the ball out like lightning, making real quick decisions and goes through his progression with ease, good decision making

Has a really good deep ball.

Has really good pocket presence and moves really well in the pocket.

Can evade and move when he needs to, great feet.

His highlights actually look better then Wilson for mine.

Broke a lot of Burrow's records while taking his team to the National Championship. He had one of the best passing seasons of all time last year.
So hyped for this coming draft and the upcoming season now. LFG!

Jones is way underrated here. If he's four, the distance between him and 2 is not much at all.

I think the reason he is so undervalued is people don't realize that processing speed and vision are as much physical strengths that rarely improve as arm strength and speed are.

Yeah it could be quite the show.

Fortunately for me I'm okay with all of them. I have my preferences, but even the one I think is a bust risk has a decent shot at thriving in this system.

This is why taking Mac Jones makes even less sense.

Mac's biggest advantage over the other prospects is he's the most "pro-ready." But we still have Jimmy. We don't need a pro-ready guy, just someone who can be ready by 2022.
Seeing that the #3 can't be packaged and sent to Houston for "WTF" Watson, I don't believe that any of these babies would be better than Jimmy G now or later. But, I ain't no NFL GM either. Let's spend #3 on a "can't miss" OT so Jimmy G can throw the ball standing up, select Mills Davis later down the draft and see what happens

It would be a reach, but I would understand why Mac is the choice. He will be much better than Jimmy long term.
DON'T want any part of Fields... I was hoping that if we were giving up this much, it would be the 2nd overall pick... I believe Shanny's in love with 2 to 3 players..

Wilson - Fields - Chase...

or, this could only mean that Saleh and told Shanny that his team will be taking the OT!!

No way we traded up for Chase. It will be Wilson, Fields, or Lance. My opinion / hope is Justin Fields 100%

Field is Haskins 2.0, talent, but what is inside the head, something people forget and is hard to get into.

Not even close.

Fields is way faster than Haskins. Haskins didn't even get a 40 under 5.00. Fields is projected to be 4.50 max. And that's just example number 1.

I am not talking about his 40, his mental ability. People are fixed on the physical they don't take into account the mental game and preparation.

the only thing similar is their skin color

They went to the same school under the same system. People need to look into more numbers, they need to hear what is being said and seeing the games to see if it is true. Urban Myers was a successful college coach-but he never produced and NFL QB.

Won't be surprised that its Jones. Makes all the throws. One weakness is throwing on the run or running away. Field is Haskins 2.0, talent, but what is inside the head, something people forget and is hard to get into. Plus he is not decisive in his throws. Remember what they tell QBs that come from college? You are not going to get a bigger window than that. He played against tough competition, but Ohio State had poor record of making pro QBs.

Lance High upside but biggest bust too.

Wilson might be the safest pick and best pick, but after his pro day, Jets got to be thinking, okay get rid of Dar now.

Kyle doesn't generally care for QBs that run and not trust the system.

However as some have stated its his job.

Also all this talk by media pundits that say they are now going to trade Jimmy are stupid, let the QB sit and learn, when you do that, they more often succeed at a higher level than those that don't

Just don't know how anyone can come to this conclusion given the year that Haskins just went through.

Conclusion-because Haskins had a great college year, but has sucked as a pro. Fields has had a great year in 2019 then came back down to earth in 2020. What you need to consider is that they both came from the same school and system. Then look at the games. The scouts all say the same thing, slow at processing and is not decisive. You familiar with what coaches often tell QBs coming in from college who are not decisive-throw the damn ball, you are not going to get a bigger window than that.

You can't just look at combine numbers/pro days and stats. You have to talk to the player and his coaches (providing you can get the true 411 on the player).
