Long shot here, but how crazy would it be if the 49ers did this to then trade back down to acquire some picks back and perhaps select a player they know would not fall to them by pick 12....I know it sounds really stupid because they gave up a third and two future first round picks, but let's say the story of them planning on keeping Jimmy is true and also the theory of them speaking with several teams trying to trade down is true but the only team willing to make a deal was Miami. Then what if they decide to trade the third pick with say Carolina or Denver or Detroit and in return get maybe there first and fourth this year and their first for next year. The 49ers will still be picking in the top 10 and also probably a top 10 next year, (because those teams will still most likely stink). And maybe they end up getting a Trey Lance or Pitts or even a top CB that they may have not gotten at 12 and it only would then have cost them a future first round pick. And I'm sure we can all agree that their first rounders for next year and the year after will more than likely be in the late first round. It's a far fetched idea but just having some fun with it. I wouldn't put it past Kyle to conjure an idea up like this, he is kinda like a mad scientist. Again I highly doubt any of this, I'm just having some fun here.

#3 to the Panthers for their #8, 2022 1st RD pick and Brian Burns. And Niners still get their QB at #8 Mac Jones.

I love it, that's some serious galaxy brain. You obviously know how far fetched it is, but I like the thinking behind it.

Something has to be brewing. Theirs no way we would trade up to grab Mac Jones a month before the draft. If we wanted to trade up for Mac Jones we would've done so on draft day when the number 1 and 2 picks are 100 percent projected. Something has to be going on...

I see your brain is as twisted as mine
i thought about it for a minute but than i put the idea to trash
you should do the same
at least you should have thrown in another scenario that has more upside : we did it so we can jump to #2 with another trade !
buy your popcorns sit down and enjoy our niners picking mac jones @ #3 as the Jets will stay put and draft wilson
