I think it's gonna be trey lance because he ran a simular offense with the play action and boot roll out plus he is an impressive athlete and Kyle shanahan has seen what a Josh Allen and Patrick mahomes can take your offense to the next level.

The fact that Lance ran a pro style system is probably the defining factor for Shanahan.
And I really don't think Garappolo is being traded. The fact that Lynch called him before the trade up and said he was their guy for this season was pretty interesting. I know people might say he was just being courteous and it doesn't mean anything. But I really do believe he means it.
Lance will be on the bench until he is needed. And with Garappolo injury history, he might start sooner rather than later regardless
