2nd round

I was so excited when we got him. Probably the most excited I've ever been about a 2nd round pick.

DON'T forget who was coaching him here... the coaching staff never wanted him so they didn't bother to develop the guy..

Just sad how his career went down from there..
1985 - Jerry Rice

Imagine the reaction if we drafted a WR in the first who ran a 4.7 lol
Soloman Thomas! Nicest guy in the draft that year baby!

Kittle saved that draft big time.

He sucked as a safety, no one was shocked that he was out of the league in short time.

Yes! Walsh was looking for his deep threat-‐--and got much, much more.

Thank God. Can you imagine him, Irvin, Emmit and that OLine....
My least favorite was probably a tie between Balmer, Jenkins, and Mcglinchey.

All 3 were reaches to me. Mcglinchey didn't make a lot of sense until the next day when they traded Trent Brown.
Exciting? As in no way he falls to us? Crabtree. He was no supposed to be there. They ran up to the podium. Bosa wasn't exciting b/c unless you really thought they were going to go with Q then that was expected and we all knew he would be great. Kinda like JUSTIN FIELDS!

And the really funny/weird/ strange thing was that without Kyler Murray going first (thanks to KK in AZ), we wouldn't have gotten Nick. But that's okay in that we have been in the opposite position of just missing out on generational players ....anyone remember CLeve and a certain LB, picking 1 slot ahead of us? And there are others. It is almost like, we were due...or owed the Bosa pick.
