You made a thread for this, and this was the opening post? Jfc

Moving up from #3 to #2 is a gigantic move that takes a lot of capital. The Jets probably see their next decade of prosperity in Wilson.

You don't know that - maybe they changed their mind and went with Fields instead.

The longer this scene plays out, the more obvious it becomes that there is a significant gap between Lawrence/Wilson and the next three. Greg Cosell, among others, noted in the video linked on the home page.

It was pretty clear that the Jets were not interested before the first trade. Unlikely they would be now.

I say give them Warner - that should get it done.

Ahh, NO. We should definitely NOT give up a proven star on defense to move up on spot and draft someone who has yet to play a single down in the NFL. Just NO !!!

So if that is the case, we would be smart staying at #3, and selecting Wilson then?

How ever it happens - I just want Wilson.

Well, check this out. I was a big damn idiot in the "49ers trade for #3 overall" for propping the same thing.

Your not an idiot - just thinking outside the box.

Lawrence is the only one with the gap for sure. I don't agree with Wilson being any better than the others, at least as a sure thing before seeing him in the NFL. I think the 9ers want Lance anyway so a trade up is unnecessary. Unless the Jets take Lance.

Why, don't you want Wilson better than the other three?

What guarantee is there that Wilson will be a better NFL quarterback? I like Wilson, but I also don't see some huge gap between him and Fields. There's a lot of reasons why a team might prefer Fields to Wilson
