With the draft being a week away there looms the possibility the 49ers select Mac Jones.. Never have I seen such a lopsided opposition against drafting a player with genuine disdain. Even worse if picked, he could sit for an entire season leaving those who resent the pick to stew.
What are some of the biggest meltdowns in webzone history from the decisions of the front office?
The two that come to mind was the hiring of Jim Tomsula with his terrible press conference and Jim Harbaugh declaring Alex Smith the starter in 2011

lol the biggest meltdowns on here have usually been about something the mods were doing. nothing to do with the team's decision making.

That's a good one I remember me and my bro watching that draft in excitement and then didn't even know who he was

My biggest meltdown on here is when we were beating the falcons and at the very end of game Nolan called prevent defense and let the falcons march down and win the game.

ok fine,,, the two super bowl losses were front and center for me... especially the first one because the coaches who looked out for us and are supposed to help us win games played a direct role in losing.. and then i had to deal with people who said.. well its just nice to be there. OH MY GOD.... our team does not go to super bowls to lose them. ok. i need some sort of a pill now

I'm personally done melting down. I already accepted that Mac is the pick and he will be a bust. I'm looking ahead at this point.

One of the reasons I became a 9er fan was that 5-0 record. Those 3 straight fade plays to Crabtree in the Super Bowl right after Gore broke a 20+ yard run to the goal line.. Should have gave it to Gore one more time...
