My biggest meltdown on here is when we were beating the falcons and at the very end of game Nolan called prevent defense and let the falcons march down and win the game.

is that the game where Clements punched the ball out Whites hands?

yes! remember that well.

Didn't Clements step out of bounds or something weird on that last drive?

one of mine is the Niners losing to the damn Vikings in 2009 against Bret Favre in that damn hail mary and Mark Roman who i never liked blew that coverage and or could have shoved the guy out as the force out rule was already gone.

I will never forget that game. I was absolutely distraught.
When Ken Norton Jr took Bryant Young's lower leg out in one of the most gruesome injuries I have ever seen.

Did anyone even know how to use message boards in 1998?

The biggest meltdown was when NC and NinerGM said the pass protection wasn't good enough every off season since 1995.

I commend your dedication. The OP asked Webzone biggest meltdowns, not your biggest meltdowns.

Can't remember which but one of the first April fools stories on the splash page had everyone wilding out.
Draft related; when we passed on Adam Carriker for Patrick Willis in 2007, then Carriker went to the Rams two picks after. Team Carriker was not happy and we were going to regret the "mistake" for the next ten years.

Sherman picking off Kap in the NFCCG and then talking smack. Or Sherman eating Turkey at Levi's.

Every play call by Jimmy Raye resulted in a mini-meltdown.

But Fartgate with Tomsula probably tops them all.

When Garrison Hearst broke his ankle on his first run from scrimmage in the Div. playoff game against the Saints in 199x

You sure that wasn't the falcons?

Yup. Freaking Chuck Smith making a stupid one arm tackle.

Nothing will top replacing Harbaugh with Coach Rat and the ensuing circus of Baalke hiring a staff for him.

I still cringe thinking about it
Some game in 2007 when Hostler was OC, we got drilled and the offense terrible. I started thread titled "We suck donkey balls" and it did not get locked and no warning. 1st reply was "Donkey balls are too high for us"

He intercepted the ball and if he took a knee we win the game. Instead, he tried to get 6 and fumbled the ball. Falcons recovered and drove for a game winning FG.
I'm surprised Armstead pick hasn't been mentioned.
