I still hope somebody can sue or hack Trash Jones before Thursday so he gets scratched from draft boards. But probably won't happen.

Lance would be an inspired pick, betting that the coaching staff can mold him into a Steve Young type of player. They'll need to keep JG if they do and sit Lance for at the very least the first half of the season. If JG goes down again injured , bring in Rosen and let the kid learn. When he's ready unleash him on the league and enjoy the product.

If this is who we want to take, I think my final decision is Trey Lance. I'd be okay with Fields too, but I will not be surprised if he is actually the Jet's pick. I think Fields is a better fit for them than Wilson.

Gotta be Fields. Jones and Lance will be there at 12. Fields is the only dude kindda worth trading up for.
