Put up or shut up time, who are the 49ers drafting at #3?

Which ever QB does not end up being a headcase and has what you can't measure-heart and mind. The big worry is the who assumes he made it cause he is #3 and gets a big contract and ends up being a fat cat.

Justin Fields, because he has the tools to be a great quarterback in Shanahan's system. Also, out of all the quarterbacks that we've had and that Shanahan has worked with they're all pocket passers, Matt Ryan, Jimmy G., C.J. Beathard, Nick Mullens which is similar to Mac Jones. And, if you take a look at all of the teams that gave us hell, they have mobile quarterbacks like Russell Wilson, Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes, etc. Let's go different this time with a quarterback who can not only run when he has to, but is pass first minded through the progressions and is dead on accurate with the short to intermediate and deep throws. Imagine what Andy Reid did with Patrick Mahomes during their time, also beating us in the Superbowl, now picture what Shanahan can do with Justin Fields...

if we go QB, that QB will get to sit and learn. which is a great thing for who ever we pick

if we get pitts, then we for sure needs to trade for a vet.. maybe minshew ?

Agreed. If we go with Pitts, then we trade for Minshew and go into the season with Jimmy #1, Minshew #2 and Rosen/Nate #3

If we go QB, I hope it's Lance, and he can sit year #1 behind Jimmy and take over next season (2022).

This is a real possibility.

Seems unlikely given Young's comments (if he really knows) yet its been 2 weeks - much could have changed.
