I wonder if he suffered the injury in the Vikings game.

Supposedly he suffered it on the 2nd to last drive of the damn game

TBF, that was half our drives.
Almost positive I read somewhere that it happened in Minnesota and it became worser during the Bangles game.
Bummer our only decent IOL go get Eza Cleveland!
Just when it looks like Williams will be back they lose Banks. He plays next to Williams so they'll continue to have a problem on that side of the line.
Man turf toe can linger. It is so easy to re sprain that area.

Nope just ask Deion, Mark Bavaro, Jonathan Ogden, Jack Lambert to name a few. I think Patrick Willis would have played longer too.

Yup :(.
So I'm curious.
How good is Aaron Banks, actually?

Banks' story is that fans (unfairly) dumped on him in his rookie year. We wanted to re-sign Laken Tomlinson, a Pro Bowler, but weren't able to. Aaron Banks came in, replaced him, and IIRC, he surprised us all that he didn't suck. And as time went on, it felt like he wasn't the liability that the right side of the offensive line. And to be honest, his play kind of made me forget about Tomlinson.

But how good is he really? As fans, the only time we ever really hear about offensive linemen is when they commit false starts or get beaten by opposing defensive linemen. He rarely has those negative plays, and I think I've seen him in film reviews just road-grading the way alongside Trent Williams.

I've been advocating for since the end of 2021.
