Thomas was played way better than Oliver. I think he actually played better than Lenoir too. Hopefully he continues to play as good as he did yesterday. Not once did I call him a dumb ass yesterday.

Thomas may play better overall, however he gives up humongous plays. Oliver gives up play after play, but they are not as backbreaking as Thomas', which he has shown to give up so many big plays over the last couple years. He's worse than Witherspoon. However, at nickel, I am really hoping Womack takes the job like he did at the beginning of last year

Oliver and Thomas are bad CB's. Lenior is at least average but has limitations. Probably will have to mix and match these dudes the rest of the season and see what works. But if you leave Thomas out there for and extended period he's going to get beat or get a penalty. Hopefully Luter and Womack can provide something at some point. Let's just keep Oliver off the field as much as possible.

I can go with that. At least Ambry might improve with more playing time. Oliver is who he is.

For the time being I definitely like Lenoir in the slot with Ward/Thomas on the outside. Thomas has problems with splash plays/PI, but Oliver is just a sieve who lets drives continue every time. Hopefully we get to a Womack/Lenoir/Ward lineup at some point, though I know Womack and Lenoir are both better in the slot than outside.

Dude got a ff, fr, and housed that thing like 80 yds, TD, and called back cuz our dumb idiot butts were out on the field like we're the Stanford band
just terrible, that was an all time classic play, ruined by our own stupidity

Scheme matters. Thomas is a boundary man CB. I have no idea why Oliver is even a NCB. He was an outside C3 guy in college. Lenior should say inside imo.
I don't think Thomas is consistent. I think in today's game every DB is gonna get beat or getting flags, there are no shutdown guys

Going to have to see more before I believe that. He gives me Ahkello Witherspoon vibes in the sense that there would be periods of time where he would look completely solid before turning into a complete liability. We need someone who can be consistent.

Kyle just wanted the offense to score instead.
