Womack will solve the problem imo. Lenoir is better on the outside but either way, Thomas gives up way too many big plays and penalties. Hopefully we don't get too exposed

.. YOU mean... outside.. as in.. BENCH... right ??

He's had 2-3 very very good games so far, another few solid ones and only a few below average games, no?

PERSONALLY.. I fully believe that 2.. 20... and Womack are nickel backs' being forced to play at the corner position.. I like Womack a lot, I think he's always at the right plays at the right time type of player.. but between them three, I still like Ambry at the corner THE MOST...

He just needs more playing time.. he needs the time 2 is getting right now..

I think Womack is the best in the nickel, and a playmaker too. At least we have 2 solid options now

How do we know if Womack is an improvement? How much have we seen him play?

It can always be worse. We fans often think that just replacing a guy with someone one the practice squad is going to be an improvement. There are reasons these guys ar eon the practice squad.
I trust this guy about as much as I trust our kicker.
I feel like that big PI call was more a result of him being gassed from the fumble return….
When is Womack back?

I concur. A lot stickier to his defenders than Thomas but either Womack or Thomas on the field is better than Oliver on the field lately I guess.
Not sure what Womack is b/c dude has barely played. And when he was playing he was getting toasted.

Thought I remembered him playing well then having 1 mediocre game and hitting the bench. He was definitely a ballhawk at the very least.

Isn't Womack a preseason stud?

I know. I'm talking about last year when he started at nickel his rookie year. I remember him playing solid for 3 games or so, then he had 1 let down game and all of a sudden we never saw him again outside of ST, where he's made some great plays.

Luter/Thomas are press-man cover CBs. They need to be on the outside. If Thomas was better at reading his zones, he would be the starter.

Samuel Womack has the speed/twitch to play NCB. He's gotta tackle better though. We will see. Oliver stinks
He seems steady if not better with every game.
