The 1 PI was a terrible call. Overall he made some plays. He wasn't as bad as it seems. He made some good plays too.

He's getting better and better. That's a great sign for this kid.

I like him. Always in position. He'll learn to play the ball better.

Dontae Johnson is always in position and he's still crap.
True Koldo: position means nothing when you can't make a play.

This guy has given up 3 TDs in 2 games (should of been 4) and a lot of yards and completions. Some of you crack me up with the of so kind moral victory speeches.
Like:
He was almost always in position to make a play
Reality: He did not

Matt Ryan threw perfect balls
Reality: If he was in better position he could of made a play

What can you do when your in phase against a perfect pass
Reality: Be a better player and make a play like so many cbs in the nfl

He's a rookie, give him time
Reality: At what cost? A playoff loss?

Enough is Enough. I've had it with these mother f**kin snakes on this mother f**kin plane

He sucks and is costing the niners points and eventually games. He may certainly improve but at what expense

El Guapo and his "NO ROOKIES ON MY SQUAD" team!

Ambry is gonna be great come playoff time. The team is sticking with him. It will pay off.

I agree, Ambry is going to be a good one. Go, rook, go!

I wonder if El Guapo is singing a different tune now?

Clearly our best CB. They went at him first, then went after the other side the rest of the game.

Yup, they tried him early and he wasn't having it so they just looked to the other side the rest of the game. His positioning and instincts on that near pick 6 were fantastic, just needs to finish that off next time!
Thomas constantly improving, peeps gotta give young prospect a chance to develop…might have something with him. Arrow up!

Totally. If we can get Eman healthy we should be much improved with Eman and Thomas out there without Norman.

He's coming in really strong at a time we need him the most. Solid performance today!

You idiots were saying he was terrible and should be cut? How did one game make you change your minds? Just curious.

He played solid today I'll give him that. But I still hope the 49ers go out and spend some money on the secondary, these guys just cannot stay healthy.

The secondary needs help, sure... but I'm referring to Thomas specifically. Prior to this game, I felt that even though he gave up some big passes, he competed and was in the right spot... a lot of times the receiver made great catches or the quarterback made s perfect throw. He needs reps... that's it.

I did say he played solid. Something to build on, I wouldn't get too excited the QB was Davis Mills, the truer test will be vs Stafford with Kupp, OBJ and Van Jefferson.

The Rams don't really have a "go up a get it" receiver like Kyle Pitts or AJ Brown and Stafford is a great passer but he's not dropping it over the shoulder like Rodgers...
so I think he'll be fine.
OBJ is starting to play better as he gets involved more in the offense. Copper Kupp just set a Rams single season record for yards receiving. I'd say those guys are going to be a handful.

Thomas wouldn't have been my pick on draft day. Due to the concerns of our depth at corner entering the season and our top corner being someone with a injury history... taking someone who had missed the whole year of football previously seemed like it was always gonna be something that took a little time to flush out. With that said, I'm glad Thomas is developing now and looking better and better every week.

He seems to have learned from those mulitple hands-to-the-face flags...which is what really bugged me.

Baby steps.
