How is his injury history??

As far as I can see he played in all 39 games over three seasons and started all 13 games of his 3rd season. Sounds clean.

Check that . . .he played in 34 of 39 games.

Good developmental prospect. Hopefully he kicks D.Johnson off the roster.

Ok I believe you but please don't start comparing him to HOFs just yet. Not yet ok?!

NOT YET... but he plays he's similar to Marcus Peters w/a better attitude ..

That's cool I'll take it

That syracuse player sounds like the better player but Thomas needs to be coached up. Has upside
why "but"? you mean, if coached up, he is superior to that Syracuse player?

I'm saying it.....good call moon. You now have full rights to give this guy his official nickname

Probably would have gone higher had he not opted out this season.

This and he played well during Senior bowl week, saw Cade Jonhson whoop him a couple times in one on one though

Indeed. Im liking the draft. Definitely not a Witherspoon.

Apparently he was Adam Peters baby, he championed him.

Lynch said we were interested in Adebo (went 76th), not shocked. Lynch loves his Stan likford guys.
At least the interest was there. Just didn't have enough picks.

You need like 5 or 6 corners. What do we have, 4? We'd have to get damn lucky to draft/sign enough rookies to kick Johnson off the roster. I really would like a rebuilt secondary, with 3 or 4 rookie CB/S on the roster. May need a Johnson or preferably Sherman if the price is right to help with the transition.

They all need coached up. This guys is a stud athlete. He'll fill out some more and be solid.
Kid has versatility he can play inside/outside. Good ball skills and a great tackler.

not sure I'm putting him on an island but for what we ask our DBs to do he should be fine. I think he will find himself on the field sooner than later based on being able to play all over the place.

solid pick. Probably goes higher if he played this yr.

Finally, a CB!
49ers definitely got left at the altar here. I'd bet anything Molden and Melifonwu had to be ahead of Thomas on their board, and Lynch acknowledged that Adebo was as well. The trade up for Sermon might have been better spent on either Molden or Melifonwu... Sermon may have been available at 102. Heck, they may have had eyes on Asante Samuel in round 2 also.

Thomas is the bare minimum investment at DB and it is slim pickings the rest of the way.

They traded up for sermon. Probably had intel (from another team trying to trade or an agent, etc) that a team was sniffing around him or said they were looking to draft him soon. Some analysts said he was 4th best rb in draft.
Screamed bloody murder when lions took Melifonwu!
Getting Thomas took the edge off though. Good pick.
