I thought he was always playing at a high level. Just some jump balls that went the other way.

He appears to be a very good player who is ascending. I'm impressed by him.

Yep, no coincidence that our defense has locked down the last two opposing offenses (both top 5 offenses) with Moseley and Ambry at corner.

now we have to stop Adams no easy task best WR imo

Our team is a lot better with Mosley and Ambry. We are awful without them in the secondary.

We just have to limit the damage and stop the other players. A WR like Adams is always going to make plays. Just like Kupp had a good game against us, but we limited everyone else for the most part.

Who knows could have been different with Kupp if K. Williams was healthy. The secondary was down to their 5th best corner after Tartt got injured and they moved Dontae Johnson to Safety. Hope Moseley, Williams and Thomas can limit him with Safety help.

The Cowboys' passing game was non-existent, Thomas had (for a rookie)another great game. The arrow has been going up for him.👍👍👍

An K'wuan. You never want to see Dontae Johnson at the slot.

Do you're not even kidding. His growth amazes me weekly. He's changing our defense before our eyes.

He is a shut down corner. What a pick. Steal.

Unbelievable rise when he got torched early and we know that rookies will get tested by some of the best WR/QB combos out there. Many here said that get the growing pains out of the way and get him the reps he needed before the playoffs as we were losing players left and right during that time. On top of that he hasn't played in his last year of college, so he just needs to play. Boy of boy, what a quick turnaround for him and will just continue to get better. And he faced some of the best WR group late this season on our playoff chase. Kudos to Adam Peters for finding and pushing for his guy. Hopefully we get to keep Peters to find more players like Ambry in the later rounds. Great pick!

Think it's worth remembering that younger, inexperienced players don't necessarily improve in a linear trajectory. Sometime it might feel like 2 steps forward then 1 step back.

Ambry Thomas definitely feels like he's taking huge strides forward and looks like a good player for now and to develop in the future. As a young CB he'll probably have a few rough games at some point. Hopefully, everyone accepts this and continues to let him develop. The improvement he's made over the last few months shows he's a player with talent but one that will work hard to iron out any weaknesses in his game.

If i had the patience i would find my comment after the bengals game saying he is going to be a good corner because his coverage skills were good and he had to do a better job of attacking the ball in the air

K'wuan is our real MVP!
One tidbit I saw in one of the articles I read today is that the coaching staff has extra time after practice where they give extra one-on-one time with young players.

Kudos to the 49ers staff for actually developing its players. It's showing.

Kid played a helluva game. Elliott had 31 yards rushing and Lamb didn't have a catch until 8 minutes left in the game. Ryan usually struggles taking a team's best player out but with Thomas, Moseley and his boys, the other boys had nothing!
