Ambry Thomas was a full participant in practice. Looks like he's good to go.
I think if we win this game (and Super Bowl), he's going to be a very very important piece on the defense.

Well really need you back this week kid

Agree! Hope he can play!🙏

Definitely, need him back this weekend. Norman just doesn't cut it.

I hope he ready.. my spider sense is already telling me that there will be long bombs coming his way.... the minimum of TWO..

I hope he ready.. i hope he ready !!!

He snuffed out that long bomb by Stafford in the last game, so he's getting better each game. Two snuffs isn't too much out of the question. Specially with the kind of pass rush this 49er defense generates.

IM sure Staff and OBJ have not forgotten how the rooke celebrated that INT... now that Staff is feeling the chemistry with OBJ, I expect them do a couple of double moves on him..

will AT PHONE HOME ???

a dozen BALOT for you GIEDL!!! a DOZEN !!!

I don't understand how any "expert" thought those conditions would be good for a passing team.

Did some expert really think those were good conditions for a passing team?

An investment that is paying off a year earlier than expected. So happy for this kid. Improved every week and stuck to it through all the adversity. Can't wait to see him play this weekend.
He has come a long way. He even gets media praise now.
Lets hope that week off didn't get him rusty.

Agree, he'll snuff OBJ too!

As for Balot --->

This kid is about to be really tested on Sunday. Kinda worried since he is still a rookie 😟

He's not a rookie anymore.
I read somwhere ambry runs a 4.3? His speed is gonna be critical because we're going up against some burners man.

have ambry on their fastest guy with safety help will give us best chance. Belicheck did this a few years back I remember. He grabbed his fastest corner even though he was a rookie and asked him how fast are you. Then put him on the fast receiver that was gashing him. I believe this was in the Super Bowl.

This. Definitely didn't expect him to contribute this much this year at all. Excited for him to have another good game this weekend!
Kid had a year off from football and came on later on in this year. He's not even near his ceiling yet. Funny posts of him being a bust earlier this year and last week we couldn't win without him.

I would be more comfortable with him out there than Norman or Johnson. However, let's see how tough this kid is mentally and physically after an injury.

Need rooks to step up to win SB's too
Has any player gone from bust label to "he better suit up" faster than Thomas lol. Thank God it clicked for him!

Lol true.

After his first game. Fans was like "this guy sucks"

A fee months later. "We're screwed If he doesn't suit up".

Seriously though, sky's the limit for this young man.
