Let's see how he develops. Good start so far but let's slow down. They definitely need a plan at center behind Mack. need to draft a guy this year to develop ASAP.

I swear he got benched after giving up the hit that drilled Jimmy on the Aiyuk TD.

Something definitely happened. There were a few series toward the end of the second quarter where Compton was in.

Yep, he definitely got benched.

Yet he won't bench Compton when he's repeatedly taken to the woodshed . Give me a break. Kyle seems to go out of his way to f**k with young players

The issue is more on our end. It's a huge dead cap hit I believe since his next year is fully guaranteed.

Why would there be a cap hit? His guaranteed money is all base salary.

This is true.

But on the silver lining thing, did we just witness Kyle bench a player for poor pass protection?

First, he moves away from PA and shotgun-spread for Jimmy and now he's benching guys for not protecting him?

My God, I'm so right now!
I mean wasnt Moore drafted to be a G? He is really strong and did a good job of standing up pass rushers. Seems to me the best plan would be to move Brunskill to RT and Moore to RG.

Rather give Banks a shot at RG.

That's what really frustrates me with Kyle. He needs to give these young guys a chance and allow them to learn from their mistakes. We all know what Compton Is capable of, and It's not pretty.

I just wonder if Banks is as bad as Ambry. I actually really liked how Moore anchored against pass rushers and I think that would translate to the OG alot more. Seems like he loss to Smoot on edge hand technique.
So did Moore get hurt?

i saw he played in the first half, but then 2nd half we saw mainly Compton again.
Ignore that, i see the tweet above lol.

I'm with you Mr. Hall of Fame.

Kyle's a young coach, he's going to be scary, if he can stay being a coach for another three years and develop not only Trey, but the team around Trey.

P.S. as a side note, this years draft class seems solid through and through, I don't see any glaring busts - yet. I'm wondering if that's a result of the GM/Front office relying more and more on Kyles father (Mike Shanahan) for player evaluations. Afterall, this is a guy that won back to back super bowls.

If they're not able to bring back Tomlinson, I'd expect Moore to wind up at LG while McGlinchey plays out his last year at RT. But man, I'd like Moore to compete to start there next year.

I want to see McKivitz get some more snaps at RT.
