I seriously hope this guy beats out MM through training camp/pre-season to become starting RT this season.

I can't handle another mediocre season from MM, seeing him get pushed 10 yards back into the back field by a D lineman.

I think it's Brunskill that will be our RT. Moore at RG and Banks at LG.

This. Unless we draft someone like Tyler Smith from Tulsa. Moore is our guard and Brunskill our tackle.

They could have done that last year and chose to start Compton at RT instead

Unless you're an elite prospect… rookie offensive lineman take time to groom. Same reason why we got Tomlinson so cheap from the Lions.

I am more worried of MM than I am of Moore and Banks to be honest. They drafted Banks in the 2nd RD, So obviously see the talent in him. But with MM I am concerned about the injury and if he can truly recover from it.

I'm worried that MM will be ready by training camp.

Haha. Nice.

I'm a little more concerned with MM and banking on him returning. Hopefully Brunskill be ready to go at RT and play at a high level like he was in 2019. But a lot of unknowns at this time . But they need to ensure they get a young C in the pipeline

Preach my wise, friend!

Niners did go off on that winning streak after his injury. Coincidence? I think we were like 7-2 without him. 9-3 including playoffs.

Good call!

seems like Kyle's trend is they don't start Rookies unless there isn't a choice (injuries)

….unless the rooks they draft would be a liability if they got on the field. I think it is as stated above, but we (WZ) are continually in the dark about how good are all rooks, esp on OL, but also at CB, And since KS and JL KNOW how good the talent is, (and we don't), we never will be able to tell whether no rook OL plays due to as above or because they just aren't ready. It is no secret that today's college OLs, are not trained well for NFL. And certainly very few if any college OLs have the foggiest idea of OZ blocking.
I'm fine with Moore and Banks starting, just more guys for Lance to juke out before hitting Aiyuck on a 58 yard bomb.
The Niners seem to have no sense of urgency with the RT.

Is that because they have faith that McKivitz or Moore can win the RT job in camp?

I think if Banks and Moore can become league average (or better) guards, that's as much a key to success for the year as Trey turning into a top 10 QB.

Agree. Stick them in & let them play

TWITT…That's What I Think Too.

I think Banks will be LG, and show his stuff like he did at ND. I HOPE Brun plays RT, and that leaves McK or Moore at RG…McK may beat out Brun for RT, but i still favor your thots of Moore/ Brun at RG/RT.
