I seriously hope this guy beats out MM through training camp/pre-season to become starting RT this season.

I can't handle another mediocre season from MM, seeing him get pushed 10 yards back into the back field by a D lineman.

Meh I thought he improved overall in PP before he got hurt...he was playing good football. Moore has work to do before he can be looked at as a starter. SF messed up not signing a good vet on the interior imo.

TWITT…That's What I Think Too.

I think Banks will be LG, and show his stuff like he did at ND. I HOPE Brun plays RT, and that leaves McK or Moore at RG…McK may beat out Brun for RT, but i still favor your thots of Moore/ Brun at RG/RT.

Yeah hearing Kyle gave me some confidence. He seems very happy about going with the young guards and if they are good it will make us deadlier for sure.

what if they're not good lol. Moore has never played OG outside of a couple snaps at the Senior Bowl. I think during camp he ran with the 2nd team at OT. Banks was awful during camp and IMO his film at ND was nothing special. I just don't see it with him. Big dude who isn't a mauler and has slow feet. We will see, you don't need to be a special talent to play IOL but man you should expect that if you're burning a top 50 pick on one

seems like Kyle's trend is they don't start Rookies unless there isn't a choice (injuries)

started McG.
1st round picks other than QBs should be starting, anything after is WIP

I dont agree with this. If this is your philosophy then you pigeon yourself into reaching in the first round and only drafting for need instead of BPA. Plus some guys take longer to develop then others or you maybe drafting to replace a player the following year.

it's not a philosophy. BPA or PON, Your first rounder should be a starter.

Is that because they have faith that McKivitz or Moore can win the RT job in camp?
Or maybe they will finally play Brunskill again at RT who knows.^^
Maybe I see him better than he really is but by far his best games were when he played T.

Small sample size at times misleads the fans. They look at these dudes everyday in practice. Moore barely got any reps before being pulled for Compton. Who knows how this will pay out.

They didn't have a choice after trading Trenton Brown though. To All's point.

I hear you, but only one way to find out. Same as with Trey.

Also I'm wondering if Moore is the RT and not RG. Let a rookie duke it out for RG with a couple vets in training camp etc.

I would have liked to have more veteran presence with Trey, but if they are good they are good. If not, we're al used to it, but i hope it doesn't screw up Trey.
Both McK (who played very well at LT one game when big Trent was hurt), and Moore (played some RT and i think some RG) plus Brun are all in the running for RT. I think all 3 could start there, Moore being a yr or so away from being a solid RT. Question is who best then starts at RG?

I didn't put McG in at RT because of uncertainty with his surgerized quad tear. But if he IS ready to go, and there is no fall off of his play then we have 4 candidates for RT. Best bet seems to be Jaylon to RG this yr and best of McG/McK/ Brun ends up at RT. Moore was okay, but he seems best fit of the 4 for RG. Let the other 3 contest the RT slot.
i wanna see what he can do.

Rather see him at RT than MM.
We lack depth along the OL and RT seems to be a big problem with MM hurt. Colt shouldn't be a the slam dunk at RT.

Moore struggled last year with minimal reps at RT. Not sure why he is not given any real chance at RT this year. He must be really struggling. Not sure about his injury status

I believe he just came back this week from injury.
