I believe Burford will slide over to RT next year and we can put Poe at RG
if RT is not solidified, then we should look to FA rather than move Beu to RT

I agree with that move. You don't need an awesome Right Tackle for Kyle's offense - Tom Compton proved that last year.

9 pressures in 3 playoff games says otherwise. You can get away with it in the regular season but come playoff time, its a different story.

THANK YOU!

Eventually talent will need to stand on its own.

At first I read that backwards and was thinking 3 pressures in 9 playoff games is incredible- what's wrong with that? lol. With that said, yeah, you can't hide guys. I think we are headed in the right direction, but we aren't there yet. Williams/Banks/Brendel/Burford/McGlinchey with the potential of Moore or Brunskill stepping in at RT has some possibilities. I don't expect it to look right until those guys get half a season under their belts. I'm just hoping McKivitz never sees the field.

Agree.

Gonna be a make or break year for MM. If he has a solid year we can resign him and it shouldn't cost a ton. If not, RT should be top need in FA.

Sorry. I guess I should have just said Compton gave up an 11% pressure rate in the playoffs. The IOL has a good amount of potential but I think we need to be a little patient with them as they are all fairly inexperienced. I don't think MM is coming back any time soon. I hope DB is ready to go week 1. If not, we might need to keep a RB or TE in to help in pp on that side on 3rd downs.
Is he a better guard than a tackle?

Don't know. He's always hurt.
Getting benched for Compton isn't a good sign. This guy is not a tackle.
He shouldn't be guaranteed a roster spot. It's not like he is a high draft pick. He was drafted in the 5th RD. Yes I know it's their money round but can't win them all.

Yup.

1. He's not a Tackle.
2. He's definitely not a LT
3. His injuries left him in no-man's land
Cut

Agree with all. I've never seen anything from him for me to believe that he'd be better at Guard as well. I think I'd risk cutting this guy and signing back for more development on the practice squad

He got wrecked versus HOU but in his defense it was his first action in a long time and he went up against a grizzled vet in Jerry Hughes.

Good point as well.
