Not sure about the entire game. He got beat bad on the deep out almost-catch to Latu.

He wasn't out there on that play.

TE Willis missed his chip and Manning couldn't get around quick enough. Ismael got blown up in the middle and the running back didn't even attempt to chip the middle rusher, allowing Trey to get sandwiched by both.

Took some bad angles in the run game, and his pass sets are extremely inconsistent. All the physical tools but has no future here due to his lack of technique imo.

Yup. I was optimistic in 2021, now? We need someone that can push him off the roster.

The sooner the better.

I'm not optimistic. Not at tackle. Just will need to draft a rookie with our 1st and honestly I'd go back to tackle in the 4th or 5th as well in 2024.
He had a good preseason. He should make he roster over Pryor.

He should play guard. I think we could have something there if they would just play him there.
He played very good last night. In fact he stood out in a good way.

I know Foerster has this thing about body types and such when he looks at who plays guard and tackle. I wanted Dan Brunskill to play tackle for years and they kept him at guard. If Moore would be better off there, I doubt he gets a chance. There's also the fact that we have so few tackles here. Even if we get a guy, Moore would be making a move inside on the last year of his rookie deal. It might be the move for him however because after three training camps, his tackle play wouldn't warrant a 2nd contract even as a backup.
Moore outplayed McKivitz at the more difficult tackle spot on Monday. Makes you wonder... We are so deadset on keeping a single backup OT for each side, but maybe Moore should've been put in more competition with Colton from the start.

How's his run game blocking and movements. That's just as important as the pass blocking without Trent leading the way for CMC
It seems that Spencer Buford has been our weakest link. Can Moore switch to Right Guard?

Good idea. Whilst the O line has got a little more emphasis of late, I can't help thinking more is needed. And more raw material through the draft etc. Moore may be a keeper, though. Not sure I see him as the starter in future though.

Well, nobody is close to Trent in run blocking. He is the best. He clears not only his man, but often creates traffic for the defense as well.

By that standard, Moore wasn't close to Trent as a run blocking. He could wall off and pull reasonably well from what I saw. He just didn't have the power and technique to blow guys out of the hole the way Trent does.

Remember Moorewas the leader at RT years ago. Brunskill, Compton and Mckivitz all passed him up. When MM got hurt in 2019 or 2020 they put in Moore. He was so bad they put in Compton. When MM got hurt again they put Moore in and he was bad again. So they ran with Brunskill until MM came back. Then the next off season him and Mckivitz were in competition for the back up tackle spot and Mckivitz beat him. Last year when TW was hurt Mckivitz played over Moore. Then when MM left Mckivitz beat Moore out again. We aren't at practice but at every turn it appears the coaches feel Mckivitz is the better player.
