Moore outplayed McKivitz at the more difficult tackle spot on Monday. Makes you wonder... We are so deadset on keeping a single backup OT for each side, but maybe Moore should've been put in more competition with Colton from the start.

Remember Moorewas the leader at RT years ago. Brunskill, Compton and Mckivitz all passed him up. When MM got hurt in 2019 or 2020 they put in Moore. He was so bad they put in Compton. When MM got hurt again they put Moore in and he was bad again. So they ran with Brunskill until MM came back. Then the next off season him and Mckivitz were in competition for the back up tackle spot and Mckivitz beat him. Last year when TW was hurt Mckivitz played over Moore. Then when MM left Mckivitz beat Moore out again. We aren't at practice but at every turn it appears the coaches feel Mckivitz is the better player.
I know Mckivitz was cut here. Was Moore too at one point? I can't remember.

I think he is pretty good for a backup to be honest. Nobody is Trent Williams. But I think he's a decent pass blocker at Tackle to be honest. I don't see huge numbers of bad things from him. Kind of impressed really.

Moore made the team over him I believe either last year or the one before.

Played a lot better than I expected - move to Guard sounds interesting.
Maybe to RT?
it seems like he's being kept like they did w/Brunskill - never a starter but a utility guy.
IMO, Brunskill would have been way better than McKivitz.

Guard would be better. Replace the weakest link at RG.

At least make it a known competition and stop just giving starting roles to players, Foerster.

Moore's graded 79 so far with pff. That's why williams gets another week off.
If he has a good outing, why not try a few snaps at RG? See what happens.
