If you want to feel better about Moore, check out his film on Utube. I think Brun, Laken , Banks and Moore are all starters. 7 starter OLs? Holy cripes, could it be?

I saw his film when he was drafted, thats why I keep checking in on him.
I hope you are right! O-line would be set for a long time!

That's a good thing when talking O-line right?
We need a safety but I'm hoping this is our breakout 5th rounder (Kittle Style) this year. Tired of seeing our O-line be awful in Pass Pro and upgrades give Trey the best chance of success long term.

From Grant Cohn on Day 2 of Training Camp:
2. Offensive tackle Jaylon Moore.
Has taken Shon Coleman's place as the backup left tackle and is performing well. Today during 1 on 1s, Moore beat Samson Ebukam, who tried a spin move and got nowhere. Moore looks promising for a rookie.
He has been playing OT this training camp but I think the Niners see his long term future at OG. Either way, this kid appears to be a player. Was one of the few draft prospects I always hoped would be on the Niners. Glad that he is.

Love it!
If he can play tackle, that is a huge plus!

But if he can play both (and that was my understanding of what he played in college), then that is an even bigger PLUS. To play OT well enough tho, to take over the 2nd spot ….from the 5th rd? How can one not like that?

I didn't focus on him, but it seemed like he had a really strong game from start to finish.

Pretty solid from. What I saw today. Think he gave up a late pressure. Arrow up

I was trying to watch so many things last night, but when I was focused on Moore he seemed to do very well. Was keeping Rushers quiet most of the night.

This kid got better and better as camp and pre-season went on which is what you look for obviously in a rookie. I really think we got a good player in Jaylon Moore. He's very athletic and has the frame to add some more weight. I think he can be a really good backup swing tackle and guard and can develop into a solid starting player. He kinda reminds me of Derrick Deese with his athleticism and versatility.
Good 5th rd pick.
