I can see him working on the outside only. I don't see him covering the slot in the NFL.

to his defense he slipped prior to ball being thrown but recovered nicely. If he didn't slip he was in great position to make a play on ball.

Corner is one of the toughest positions to play in the NFL. They're going to take time to develop. Sounds like Thomas is improving. Lenoir has been getting beat but he's also right there on most of them. Just about improving technique and getting the ball out.

That's what I was thinking as well. Every video I've seen he has been in position to make a play on the ball so its not like he's getting toasted out there.

He looked pretty good out there today

Very impressed with how sticky he was in coverage. He'll get baited by some PI's, but he'll also draw some offensive PI's. In any case, I don't think you'll see any big plays being made on him or teams picking on him when he's in. So far our rookie DBs are looking VERY impressive!

Agree. Our DEMO (as in Demolition) man showed well, and did himself some real good. He's gonna see some playing time this yr, but we'll have to wait to see how much and when. He seems to be comfortable playing WRs nose to nose and pretty well stays with them. He will only get better. The "When" part is the question. Definitely will get some rotational snaps …but how soon?

Just like with Banks, Jaylon Moore, Trey…NFL is BIGGER, FASTER, MEANER, STRONGER, SMARTER. That is a tough line to cross, but to make it in the bigs, that has to be learned.
