I don't see that at all. Ward yes. But I'd be shocked if they let Lenoir walk. An absolute dog that this regime drafted? Turned himself into a top tier player? It's just not their way. He will be the leader of the young lions- Green, Luter, and whatever corner they draft next year.

I hope they can extend him in season like they did Greenlaw a few years ago, which turned out to be a steal. Demo is the future and the price will only go up.

I wonder if behind the scenes they have been working on it, working on extending Lenoir. I really hope so - they drafted him, and he's really shown to be just what this team needs as a young, playmaking, all-around CB to help solidify the backend.

They have been talking. Lenoir said so last season. He gambled on himself (and rightfully so) because he knows he can earn a pretty sizeable deal on his 2nd contract. Something like Ward's current one.
