If he's a decent player they should re-sign him. Makes more sense than over paying players that can't even stay on the field.

Lenoir picked a bad nickname. Hyena's aren't a member of the dog family. They're smelly scavengers. Better to call him a wolf. That's the supreme leader of the dog family. Great hunters and able to take down large prey.

Banks is not worth the money that the FA market will pay him. 9ers mgmt have been pretty astute on these types of transactions. We've seen it over the last couple of years on similar players on the interior line and dline type players. Niners did a nice job letting go of AA last year and picking up a couple decent interior dline players. We'll see what the full year performance looks like before evaluating that particular trade. Niner also let go of McGlinchey, which I believe was smart vs. what he was paid in the market.

Banks isn't foo far behind C and RT. They can replace him with a draft pick. I don't think he will get overpaid.

Excellent move!! Instead of waiting until the last minute - the FO got it done and we retained an excellent player who - IMO will still get better like he has every year he's been on the team.

They have 7 picks in 2025. 2 thirds but no 5th. That doesn't give them a lot of ammo to move up so finding 3 linemen with 7 picks is a challenge. Unlikely to find 3 starters. They can't ignore the D line and LB either. Both areas need help.
