Just got activated. Should see some snaps in this game
Play with a cast for a bit. People seem to forget how good this guy was at creating turnovers and stopping the run. Glad he's back, but I don't think we'll be able to keep him, Ward or banks, but maybe Greenlaw
Hufanga is way better than Brown. He might make some mistakes, but he at least has some playmaking ability and instincts.

Brown is late to the play and so insanely slow to diagnose 9/10 times, it's ridiculous.

Proved that today. That Odunze TD… Brown sat on it like he had no clue and acted like he wanted to make a play after the TD.

We've all had our draft whiffs and hits, but OTC, you really nailed your assessment of Brown in the run-up to the draft. Slow, poor-angles, and always late to react.

Ditto.

no one is perfect, and I expressed myself that I have my weak areas in scouting (LB and CB not my best spot), but I am generally extremely good at scouting almost all other positions. Football has been a passion since I was little. I've played OL, DL, WR, S, CB, and K/P. Been a prospect nerd a long time.

It's weird to me though, there's stuff you see when you watch tape, you'd think would be obvious to former pros. It is legitimately mind-boggling when those guys don't see what I do.

I could not believe how late to react Brown was on the bears TD.
Not sure what his price will be but its obvious he is way better than Brown. Perhaps they can find someone cheaper who is still an upgrade?

Lacks football smarts. I cannot believe John Lynch and his staff thought Brown was worthy of a 3rd round pick last year.

IMO, I thought he was worthy was a 3rd round pick. If he would've ran a faster 40, I bet he would've went higher. But with that said, I can't it took this long to bench him.

Personally I don't think his time here is done. They love him and he loves the 49ers; I feel he's the type that wants to give back more rather than end his time here off of two injury plagued seasons. 1 year deal minimum to be back at least next year is my guess

I mean is that worse than thinking that Sermon, TDP, and Moody is worthy of 3rd round picks?

No. They are all awful picks.
No going back!

Hufanga + Mustapha are the starters like I said.
