WIll be interesting to see him down the stretch and what that means in the offseason. Still thinking we let him walk.

After yesterday's game, I say bring him back next year on a reasonable contract if possible. We can't have Brown starting for us next year. Brown is not a starting safety in this league

Unless they have a REAL replacement. He has to be back! All the safeties suck, except for Mustapha.

Oh I agree, I think we should target a real FS. Don't like MM or Huf in that role, both are better at SS IMO.

Yep we've got a lot of holes. Hopefully we use FA to address as well.

I was watching Talanoa Hufanga when the defense would break huddle and the CBs would be looking at him and when Huff identified the formation he communicated down and they then followed suit with whatever he told them

One of the reasons Tartt and Ward were around for so long is they were elite communicators. Of course, this stuff doesn't register with fans, especially the ones that have never laced cleats up.

Yeah man, that s**t matters. I think Gipson did a little bit of that as well.
At this pt I would try to bring back Huf. I'm guessing it would only be a one or two yr deal because he's gonna want to get paid paid after that. Him and Dre need to be resigned

Which is why they also should start Tashaun Gipson, they know what's going on. Brown looks lost and more times than not slow to react to plays.

Giving up that last first down was killer, but man it was so good to see this guy and Dre play again. I almost forgot how good this defense could be when healthy.

Problem with Gipson is that he'll be 35 next August. There's no future there, hence the attempts to replace him with younger guys.
