Those three could do some serious damage if all stay relatively healthy.
I think that if we can stay healthy, and come to play evrry week, we are unstoppable.

I think they're waiting until the potato you use for a brain to make these posts blossoms into a fully functional brain so your posts can be meaningful.

What can I say, I like our team to use roster spots on players that are able to play.

Sounds like you would've gotten rid of a lot of good players over the years.

Using that logic Sermon or TDP > Mitchell.
Mitchell is a WILDLY talented player--even underrated...but the reason he's underrated is because he can't stay healthy worth a LICK!

If i'm being honest, he's a better pure runner inbetween the tackles than CMC by a MILE. CMC is a better weapon and talent but Mtichell gets tough, big back yardage and is more quick-twitch elusive to tacklers.

I have no faith this guy can stay healthy but I sure as s**t hope he does because he can be an absolute game changer if he is. Kinda churn and big chunk running that seals games...which fits perfectly with this offense. He.just.can't.stay.on.the.damn.field...

which is...the everlasting saga of the San Francisco 49ers.

Said about every 9er ever, every year. It sure would be nice though! No lies detected.

this is a good point actually because if we applied that logic to everyone an everything then yes it would mean sermon and TDP are more important than mitchell. when we all know mitchell is CLEARLY more talented then both of those guys

BUT

what is more important, valuable to a team, and effective on offense....an OK to good RB who can get an stay on the field for the majority of the season, or a GREAT to excellent RB who can barely ever get on the field and is only able to play 2-3 games max before incurring ANOTHER injury. how valuable is that talent when it cant get off the bench?

the niners have proven enough about injuries....with this team il ALWAYS take the more durable player over the GLASS we pick up. i love mitchell an his style but we just cant keep wasting roster spots on perennial IR guys.

I think Mason can be the inside runner we haven't had since Frank Gore.. Lil Mac can do all the things the Eli can, and even better but I doubt Eli can do what Mason brings to the table (if we can call his #s more)..

mason was badass most of the time. he just needs more chances. we have plenty of weapons we just need to use them, shanny likes to overuse 1 single player too much. im really scared of what he could possibly do to CMC.

it's called load / usage management
I think CMC is on the field a lot, thanks to the attention he draws, but an ideal would be 10-15 touches a game
Eli has a role
Mason has a role, so it's a RB rotation, like an MLB bullpen, they each have their uses, roles, situations, etc.

on CMC, the goal is to get him to January healthy, it's a 17 game season, maybe 20 for the ultimate goal
can always lean more into touches, as needed (close game, 4th qtr)

Agree with how CMC doesn't need the ball in his hands to have a positive effect for the office. Ideally, I'd like to get Eli 8-10 touches a game to spell CMC while CMC gets 15-20 touches. Mason can come in during short yardage and garbage time.

One thing I'll say on Mason, I think if CMC and Mitch weren't around, I don't know what if anything Mason gives the pass game, but the run game, he would be a force. Baldy did a good breakdown of him a while back, his vision was impressive, it's how he made the squad, and in this system, vision, size, speed, it gets rewarded.
With what KS wants to do, we need a whole RB room, it's like SEA taking that rook, after just taking the K9, the have the same mentality, of pound the rock. There will be carries to go around. Only one CMC tho, and we need him on the field in January / Feb. This will be a test for KS, there will be a desire to want to overtax CMC, with how much he helps you win games.
The key is Mitchell's health. If he's 100 percent throughout the playoffs, it will give us so many offensive benefits- he can be the best back in the playoffs( even among all the RB's from the other teams), it will help McCaffrey a lot to be the best weapon, it will preserve the QB's health, it will help Deebo does what Deebo does best, it will give us a chance to win it all including the SB. But the problem is he's always injured at that time of the year.

I think to. Maybe having Christian will help keep him healthy.
