He's worse than Jimmie Ward
I can understand him getting banged up from taking lots of hits, but injuring himself in practice is a new low. I hope he gets out of this injury slump soon.

Jason Verrett, except they aren't season enders. Or Jonas Jennings. Really good player that I would keep until the end of his rookie deal, but I'd want that R & D/analytics department (not really R & D but I just think of the story Ran Carthon told of how they found Eli Mitchell) working on finding that next perfect zone scheme runner. Must be a day 3 guy.

Yeah let's move on from this dude. Browns need a RB. Jordan Mason is more than capable
Plays a few snaps, immediately gets injured.

Emotional move. The injuries are frustrating, but there's nothing to gain by cutting/trading him. What great player is being kept off of the roster because we have Mitchell?

At his best, he's a 90 yards per game kind of guy, with a good ypc. He's a 6th round pick, so he's not making much. You keep him until his contract expires and you let him walk, while giving some other guys the opportunity. We know Mason can run, so he should get an increased workload. This staff also thought TDP was worth a 3rd round pick. If he isn't active and gets a few snaps today, then that'll tell me all I need to know about him.

Exactly. All that hype about TDP getting cut and fast this offseason, maybe it's time to see what he can do. Not sure about his ball catching or blitz pick up skills yet though.
Hopefully we can get Mason a lot of work today.

Love Mitchell but Availabilty is a major concern.

If we can get far enough ahead - This should be a make or break assessment for Price.

Are there any RB's worth going after in a trade - maybe on one of the 0-3 teams??
You simply can't depend Elijah Mitchell any longer. He's as brittle as grandmas bone china.

Id rather see our UDFA practice squad guys. We have a pretty good hit rate. Matt Brenda, Jeff Wilson, JaMycal Hasty, and Jordan Mason.

Keep the picks and look for the next day 3 Elijah Mitchell caliber player in terms of talent.

On a funny note, maybe Kyle didn't play Mitchell because he was trying to save him for the playoffs

I'd like to see TDP gets some work in, just not on passing downs. It's time for him to step up and prove he's not another Trey Sermon.
When did this dude get hurt again?

Yeach, agree! I want to see how Mason does in this offense. Hope he can be a bigger version of CMC.

Yeach, I'd like to see him do well in this offense. The deeper the running back squad is, the safer Purdy will be.

It sure is looking that way.
