He could be blocking a dependable player.
He is great. I would not cut him or give him away, however if their is late 4th or 5th value, i might be tempted. I would certainly be looking at any value RB fit i can find. Maybe make the move for a WR like Landry, then get Deebo 3rd RB's snaps.
Even if not trading him, i am drafting 2 on day 3 and signing 2 UDFA. I do not trust TDP to protect Purdy.

Blocking who? Do you think this coaching staff, who just traded a guy they sunk three 1sts into for a number 4 chik fil a combo would allow ANYONE to block a better player from being on the 53 or from getting playing time?

Any player who is available on sunday. That is the point.
We only have 4 total RBs. Impact injuries are football, but his soft tissue and sprains are very frustrating.
We are 1 protocol away from depending on TDP to pick up a blitz.

And if said player were available, he'd be ahead of Mitchell. If there were someone, they would be emerging today. I doubt that's the case. Hope we can find a 6th round gem next year to push TDP off the roster and a healthier version of Mitchell or a healthier version of Mostert. Either will do.

Dee Ford atleast played when it mattered most in the Super Bowl lol.... This guy is worst than Dee Ford and Verrett.
Yeah a lot of people got frustrated with Ford because of the contract but he played during that big run. I think it's a good comparison of two players with a ton of talent that can't stay on the field.
