he starting to see the holes a lot better. It just drives me nuts when runs into his own o line
Three 100-yard games in a season already and we're not even halfway done.

That has to be a first for this team since Frank Gore, no? Even Raheem Mostert and Carlos Hyde haven't done that I don't think.

10 games to go and 700 & some change rushing yards needed for a 1K rushing season. Very attainable if Mitchell keeps it up and stays healthy
He's really a very good player. Excellent speed and vision. Good moves too. He's a lot better than where he was drafted.

... and not only that, he seems to learning how to be patient instead of trying to hit the hole asap for big yardage
Do you guys notice he always falls forward. Always for an extra yard or two. So impressive but their were 2 runs where Mostert would've taken it for a td. Oh well.

That run today, you know THAT run for the TD where the whole team moved the pile. That was the kind of play that can define a season. The team, especially the running game really found it's soul today. I got hope!

100% agreed. That was some lumberjack men chopping some wood on that one. A real turn on
-6th rounder
-Plays for a Shanahan
-Very good running outside zone
-Around 18 carries per game

Mitchell is the second coming of Terrell Davis

Um no....alfred morris.
Anyway mitchell has some nice oz runs. I still get the feeling he leaves yards on the ground when he cuts inside. Also scurred he gonna get hurt again. We need to start rotations with wilson hasty.

Agree. Showed better vision but still a lot to improve on.

He only needs 567 yards to get to 1k! Might even get that in the next 4-5 games!
