Mitchell and Sermon will be signed for 4 years...we really don't know who among Mostert, Wilson or Gallman could be re-signed. I was really impressed with Wilson last year...yes, he got hurt, too, but came back and picked up right where he left off. Mitchell brings a lot to the table...has run a 4.33 and has good hands. He says he normally plays @ 210, Sermon @ 215, so they're a little stouter than our current RB's. What a nice problem to have, though. A full stable of excellent RB's.

I would try to trade Jeff Wilson for a 6th or 7th round pick. My RB's would be:
Mostert --- Jusczcyck
Gallman
Sermon
Mitchell

This guy is my favorite 49er now because I predicted we'd take him day 2. Eli "b***hell" Mitchell! I think he'll surprise fans. If Mostert and Brieda can do well in our offense, why can't 4.3 Eli?

Mostert is the definition of "taken for granted," maybe in history.
.... JUST another proof of how KS hates when a player becomes BIGGER than his (KS) name... just when one is becoming to be on top of the world, KS brings him back down ..
... IT's going to be the same with Sermon, he's gonna fit so well in our running scheme, then POOOOFFFF !!!

This is why you never let him walk as a free agent. You trade him. Even if the only offer we get is a 5th rounder. You either re-sign him or trade him.

Great pick. I love the speed and upside for the round he was picked.

Not right now. I would go into the season with him. But I don't let him get to free agency.

Good wingspan and HUGE hands relative to his height/size. Beyond all the speed stuff, that kinda sticks out.
And supposedly was in the 4.4s and lost a little weight to pre-draft to get in the 4.3's.
If he's any good at all catching, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him tried out in the slot as well.

Problem is you need at least 3 excellent WR's and about 5 pretty other good WR's because 2+ always get injured. Right now they only have 2 excellent WR's and a total of only ~5 pretty good WR's = very poor depth = must acquire another good WR

Eli is a smaller scatback change of pace like Brieda.
Sermon is a lead power back like Gore who is a great power runner and great pass blocker, neither of which Eli can do well
