And supposedly was in the 4.4s and lost a little weight to pre-draft to get in the 4.3's.

If he's any good at all catching, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him tried out in the slot as well.

Yup kid has explosiveness for sure

Eli is a smaller scatback change of pace like Brieda.

Sermon is a lead power back like Gore who is a great power runner and great pass blocker, neither of which Eli can do well

The pass blocking is my concern for mitchell off the 10 min I watched. Don't really care about the power back thing, just give me yards. Mostert is awesome and this guy is bigger than him

Speed for days.

His stride in the middle video reminds me a lot of Mosterts. Doesn't look as fast in that one, but the eyeball test looks good.

Almost like this is the way of the RB. You get 3-5 years on the team and then you become a liability for injury and/or cap space. Spend 10 million on the whole backfield.

The only thing i hope is he never does a guy dirty like the steelers did to bell.
I'm not seeing the fit with this one. I don't feel like the speed shows up. Rarely does the team miss on RBs. Initial reaction, this is my least favorite pick

We really missed Breida last year. We were at our best when Breida, Mostert, and Coleman were splitting the load. We could go to whoever had the hot hand.
Guys that way 210 pounds should never be able to run as fast as he does 4.33. He breaks tackles and has some great stuff arms too. This guy can easily be 1000 yard rusher on most teams. We got a gem

I love this pick and expect him to surprise people. Top end long speed, good production and big enough. He fits our mold and what we do really well. Plus our RB's are always hurt. So we need more depth. Especially of the speed guys. Because that's exactly who is hurt for us the most.

The RBs aren't going to be useful much IF we're always behind during games because of our D can't stop anyone..

We needed another DE or two since Bosa will not be fully 100% and you really don't want him chasing Dopey and Doc around..

I absolutely wanted another pass rusher in this draft. Dee Ford is always hurt. Bosa is coming off injury. Our pass rush is vastly overrated here on the WZ. It's unstable. Always injured. You can never count on it. There is a big dropoff to the backup guys.

I think most of us know it's a legit concern. The fact we didn't add an Edge in the draft indicates to me the FO is high on Ebukam as a nickel rusher (at least as a solid, important part of the rotation). Bosa, Ford (whatever we get from him), Ebukam, Jordan Willis, Arden Key -- I'm not at all sure that'll be enough, but it's not terrible, especially since we have a good rotation of DTs for that rush package too. But I'm sure many of us would be glad to add another Edge somehow before the season starts.
