LOL.... I remember when SPOON made an INT against Tampa Bay ( if not mistaken ) and his WZ followers already giving him an ALL PRO status..

What's crazy is how we have Sherfield making the 53 man, due to his guarantees in his contract. I looked it up, and if we trade him, we take no cap hit. I am sure a team would take Sherfield from us for like a 7th round pick in 2023, or for a player they don't want who also would have no cap hit on us if we were to cut him. I like a WR room of Samuel-Aiyuk-James-Hurd, assuming Hurd is healthy, that is 4, Watkins if he looks good should be our 5th if we unload Sherfield. We are going to have some hard cuts to get to 53, and moving on from Sherfield and saving that 200K guarantee helps.

you could be right, maybe it's the optimist in me, but I was giving Sherfield a decent shot at making it, I guess I was just reminded of Goodwin, another supposedly just a speed guy who Kyle brought in and ended up being pretty good for us for a hot second. But I wouldn't be surprised if he's cut like you said. Watkins looks pretty slow to me. I don't think we can assume he has a better shot than Sherfield at this point, just IMO. It's all going to play out in TC of course. Hopefully Watkins can win a spot, I'd love to have a physical jump ball guy as much as everyone else lol

Will be stashed on IR most/all season. He has no shot of making it now. Maybe if there's injuries during the season.

Time to stash him & get him ready with full season & offseason of training of his body & mind like we did Juan Jennings. Looks like it worked out good there so far

Sounds like he might be back on the PS.
