I agree, Conley's injury not that serious. But why have him go to the PS where he is vulnerable, when he can be placed on short term IR after being signed? I think Willis makes it to PS.

Due to only having 8 short term IR spots, Conley to the PS makes sense. Gotta be smart about this, can't IR everyone hurt as short term, or else in season injuries will be either season-ending or stay on 53 with no help.

Yes, I think you can designate 4 players each week to not lose, could be wrong, idk if they changed it or not.

Yeah this is what I think the FO would do, honestly I would keep Ilm over Moore or Pryor, and Jamison over Zane, but with Zane hurt, not sure they can cut him and save cap room, idk if his deal allows it.

I hope the FO is just smart enough to keep Manning on the active roster. That's the only guy I care about ensuring we have as a reserve because he's superior to every other young player we've brought in since last year among Zakelj, Poe, Fisher, etc that are competing for backup jobs.

It's interestin because including the 16 man practice squad and our international player (Alfredo), we can keep 70 players of the 90. 53+16+1.

this is why it's so important to sign bosa because we don't have the cap room right now once Tuesday at 1Pm hits. Right now only the top 51 count against the cap but at 1pm Tuesday, the top 53, practice squad, dead cap etc all starts to count - so the money we have now, disappears.

this is why I think it's ridiculous everyone is clamoring to sign Robbie gould right now or that keeping Lance is "no big deal for $5M since we pay our FB and K that". Lmao guys that actually make huge contributions, not someone who doesn't play on a normal day. We are super close up against the cap and a quite a bit over it next year.

need to sign bosa and save the $7M-$8M so we have some cash to move around during the year incase of injury and/or carry it over into next season.
