But did he show enough for one of those teams to carry him on their 53?
I think the niners plan is to replace juice next year with him. He would be wise to stay, long term.
If Juice retires, sure. I can't see the team cutting him otherwise.
Juice may be a logical choice to save some cap room. I have no idea what those numbers look like, though.
We have an out in his contract after this year and he's $7.5M each the next two years. Which is astronomical for a FB. He's huge what we do and I wouldn't be surprised if we keep him, but I think he's going to be on the move unless he takes a pay cut.
