DB Qwuantrezz Knight got *a lot* of attention today, including from two teams in the division. In the end, however, he's heading back to the SF practice squad. Knight's versatility means there's a good chance he gets called up to the active roster at some point.

CB Tre Swilling also intends to join 49ers' practice squad, per source.

I never understood why they let E-man go at that bargain price. Lions got him for $6 Million. The guy was well on his way to being a top 10 corner had he not gotten hurt. Then could have just moved Lenoir to Nickel and woudn't have needed to mess up and sign Oliver. E-man's injury mad him affordable for fhe Niners and they didn't take advantage of it.

I agree about Eman but he's already hurt and has been with Det a few months.

Considering what Wilks wants in his slot corner, the 6' 202lb Oliver is a much better fit than 5'9" 185lb Jamison.
Oliver has some work to do to clean up his play. However, his tape shows a much better player than the few plays we saw in pre-season.
