The only reason to keep Sudfeld over Rosen is if you plan to trade Jimmy. Sudfeld has been around enough to qualify as the veteran presence in the QB room if Jimmy were to become a mid season instead of after season move.

Personally I would rather the team go with just 2 QBs, if it's true that Trey Lance looks better than a rookie QB, then I hope they go with just 2, with Sudfeld on the PS.

If they go with 2, this would be my ideal roster.

QB(2): Garoppolo/ Lance
RB(4): Mostert/ Sermon/ Gallman/ Mitchell
FB(1): Juice
WR(6): Aiyuk/ Deebo/ Sherfield/ Hurd/ James/ Jennings
TE(4): Kittle/ Dwelley/ Woerner/ Pruitt
OL(8): Mack/ Brunskill/ Tomlinson/ Banks/ McKivitz/ Moore/ Trent/ McGlinchey
DE(5): AA/ Bosa/ Ebukam/ Key/ Willis
DT(3): Kinlaw/ Givens/ Hurst
NT(2): Jones/ Kerr
LB(4): Warner/ Dre/ Al-Shaair/ Burgess or Gerry
CB(5): Verrett/ Moseley/ K'Waun/ Thomas/ Lenoir
FS(3): Ward/ Moore/ Jefferson
SS(3): Tartt/ Harris/ Hufanga
ST(3): Gould/ Wish/ Pepper

Harris & Hufanga would primarily play STs and also play some SLB.

Agree with this AB. If it ever comes the point where both starting and backup QB is done for the year, so is the team. I'd try to stash Rosen on the ps instead though, I don't think doors going to be knocked down for Sudfield and he'd be available if need be
I was pretty conservative with my "locks" and here is what changes with the injuries
Daniel Brunkskill - Strong Bubble to Lock
Talanoa Hufanga - Weak Bubble to Strong Bubble
Tony Jefferson - Longshot to Weak Bubble

idk how you don't have Hufanga as a lock. Also MyCole Pruitt should pretty much be a lock, he got $500K of his salary GTD, plus a $137,500 signing bonus, I think it's possible Jefferson got the same kind of deal.

Well, take Moore out, put Tavon Wilson in, but I don't see Kyle going 2 QBs, I wish he would, 3 seems like a waste of a roster spot, rather keep an extra DB.

It's still early and like I said I'm pretty conservative with the locks.

I think Kittle will enjoy playing with Pruitt...adds an excellent blocker, plus MyCole can catch the ball, too. Dwelley likely stays over Woerner due to his versatility & experience.

They kept four TEs in 2020 (Kittle, Reed, Dwelley, Woerner). There could be room for four again this season.

True. It comes down to whether or not Woerner has made significant strides.

Not bad, but why no Arden Key, & Trent Sherfield, also I'd put Pruitt as a lock, he got $500K GTD of his base salary, a total of $637,500 GTD in his 1yr deal. I think Kyle keeps 4 TEs. I'd drop Benjamin(too expensive) for Sherfielf, Key for Willis, and Johnson for Pruitt. I have no issue if Hilliard makes it, idk who will be the 4th true LB, gonna be good competition, Gerry, Burgess, Hilliard, Sullivan, Flannigan-Fowles, Griffith all vying for a spot.

What's Benjamin scheduled to make?

I'm basing it off of who I think the best players may be, because I ultimately think -- if one guy sucks, and the other doesn't, the GTD money isn't going to keep the trash player on the team over a better football player.
