agree on the WRs but wouldn't be shocked if Benjamin beats out Webster.
I didn't count the total, but who takes Hurst's spot? Or do you have 54 with Hurst on IR the next day?
im kinda leaning towards Mayden over Ha Ha.
I think there's only really 7-9 spots open depending on injuries.
Thank you. Benjamin could certainly make it if he has another strong game today. I think Mayden or Matthews make it with Hurst going on IR

Other teams around the league can't wait for the Niners to make their final cuts. A lot of the guys that don't make it here will definitely have their opportunities elsewhere. Hopefully they keep the right guys and nobody goes somewhere else and balls out.

Gallman needs to stay...strong vet, good in pass pro, Mostert's injury history. Mitchell's supposedly going to play a lot today, not sure if that's in "real" competition to make the Niners roster or shopping him to go elsewhere. If he shows well, getting him on the PS might be iffy.

I think Hurd makes the cut but will be inactive at first. Hurd's and Jennings' skill are similar except Hurd has experience as an RB. Jennings may go to PS, IMO. Also, Matthews allows Shanahan similar flexibility (as a TE and WR) second only to Kittle (maybe Dwelley). Perhaps Brendel makes the 53 over McKivitiz.

I feel the same way. Mitchell can be the Hasty next year.

A lot of options to consider here for sure. And the day of and next should look pretty differently but we'll see.

Remember they'll need to cut someone like Matthews or Anyone with more than 4 accrued years as those guys do t go thru waivers.

Is Matthews a lock to make the team as a TE? I haven't seen him do anything in the preseason I can remember.
i think Gallman is out, the rookie is more versatile and play ST as a returner. Which could also mean that Benjamin is out even with his injury.

I'd rather have Vet Wrs than youngsters... especially if we plan to make a playoff run. So if our starters get hurt, both can come in without a hitch. Instead of having to search for WRs in FA during the season.
So I'd rather have Sherfield and Benjamin. Both have speed, and have caught passes (even heaters from Lance).
Edit- have these two over Jennings, Hurd, Webster, and maybe Sanu.
