With this roster the 49ers would have $2,203,146 in cap room to begin 2021, meaning they'll definitely need to restructure a contract or two, with Arik Armstead($4.528 million saved), & Laken Tomlinson($2.808 million saved) being the most logical choices.

I believe so, but I wouldn't be worried, if they were gonna go 2 QBs, they still would, with Sudfeld on the PS, and he could be active if needed, but Lance should be fine for week 1.

Agree on the 53.

Unless Brendel has been a fluke, it seems like he has to be kept after seeing what the lack of a good C does to the team.

Woerner has looked really good and makes it possible to only carry 3 on the active roster while Pruitt and Matthews are likely to be around if need be.

Hard to say if Jennings or Hurd would be more likely to be claimed off waivers, but if you are picking up a guy to be a 6th receiver, I'm guessing Hurd's upside makes him more attractive, meaning Jennings is more likely to make it through to the practice squad IMO.

Add the talent on the reserve list and there is a lot of depth in many places.

As always, great work!

We are almost on the same page. I think Kyle chooses Gallman over Hasty if they don't work out a cut an re-sign deal. Also, I still think Kyle goes 4 TE's. Tomorrow, we know!

Only exception is, I would keep Jennings over Benjamin. Not quite sure who would return punts though. Benjamin, I assume, doesn't have to clear waivers and might be overlooked more than Jennings.
Won't a vet, like Sanu, have to have a 'wink wink' agreement to get cut, keep M Hurst on the 53 and then bring Sanu back as they move Hurst to the short term IR?
Also don't think D Daniels, A Barrett & E Yarbrough clear waivers. They have Jets or SeaHawks written all over them.

Your 53 looks good and hope the practice squad looks like that.

Nice AB.

I prefer Jennings over Benjamin but i know why you are predicting it.

both will probably see gameday at some point this year.

Kyle likes the opportunity to have a speed receiver for clearing out zones.
If Benjamin or Webster don't make the 53, then who's the return man? Maybe Ambry, he did have a return last night, Mitchell if he makes the 53?

I'd go with Mitchell.

About the WRs, why no Trent Sherfield? And no Richie James Jr.? Idk about Benjamin and Sanu.

I'm torn on Elijah Mitchell, I kinda want the 49ers to keep all 5 RBs, and either 5 WRs or go light somewhere else.

I think Richie is a waste of space lol. Barely decent at returning, and bottoms of the barrel receiver. We have better receivers and returners

Agree, Richie just doesn't offer anything in ST or at WR. Got to go in a different direction.

Yeah, I can't see Compton making it, plus his salary would be GTD.
