It's way past time for this team to win another SB. Since they won their last one the Giants have 3 World Series rings and the Warriors have 4 NBA titles. I love the Giants and the Warriors but the Niners are still my first love.

Johnson wise, I think he makes the 53 as of now, he has I think $560K of his base salary fully GTD, which is a lot for a guy like him, where Dennard has Nothing, I think Johnson is safe, Dennard is the PS CB IMO, I just hope they don't lose Castro-Fields, or Lenoir, both young, cost effective, signed for 3 years(4 for TCF).

I like Omenihu a lot, I think, as of now, he's a lock to make the team, with Willis the odd man out, unless they do keep 11, then Willis gets that spot over Hurst, who I agree is a PS veteran.

I think if any of the secondary TEs has a shot to make the 2022 roster it's Kroft, they gave him a small signing bonus, but still something, plus he has had some playing time in the NFL, Hudson hasn't had much.

I think we agree with pretty much all but like 5 roster spots, shows how deep the team is, and how hard it'll be to make this team.

Agreed. I've already updated mine in your thread with the idea Azeez Al-Shaair will be 100% healthy. Probably 4 S's with a CB cross trained or D.Johnson over a youngster for that very reason. 4 linebackers. I might keep 11 DL since Willis will be vital to a new ST focus too. He too can play inside like Omenihu. Hmmm. Yup, we're always just a few players different. And there will always be at least one head scratcher on the real 53 too.

Yeah I hear ya, we'll see a surprise or 2, or a head scratcher, will be fun, I'm waiting for someone who should make the team to be cut, the WZ goes in full uproar, only for that player to be re-signed the next day, this way they can place someone on short term IR, like a Verrett(on IR).

For the Bay sports fan it must be a good feeling. Definitely a "we're not in Kansas anymore " type of vibe.
My latest projection, no changes, just added some guys to the locks section.

Wow AB! Great projection. Real hard to disagree on anything. But I will try
-Still think they carry 4 RBs. Probably Wilson. One less WR to make room
-May carry 4 TEs with Kroft. If so, 1 less CB.

Great Job!

Of the players you bolded, I agree with Turner, Dwelley, Zakelj, & maybe Johnson, but I feel like Hyder & Omenihu have spots on this roster, won't surprise me if one gets cut, but seems like Kris Kocurek likes both, especially Hyder.

Yeah, I highlighted Hyder & Omenihu only because Jordan Willis may make it over one of those guys esp. with an extra focus on ST now.

I highlighted the position of SCB because it sounds like every beat writer has Darqueze Dennard as a lock to start...doesn't mean he'd keep the job but the coaches love him and he is playing at a high level ATM.

I highlighted the position of SCB because it sounds like every beat writer has Darqueze Dennard as a lock to start...doesn't mean he'd keep the job but the coaches love him and he is playing at a high level ATM.

I hear ya, just think with Kocurek's history with Hyder will help him keep his spot. If anything we go 11 DL to keep Willis.

SCB wise, not ruling Dennard out, also know they like Womack & Lenoir, so we'll see, just hope the best 53 make it.

Yeah, I highlighted Hyder & Omenihu only because Jordan Willis may make it over one of those guys esp. with an extra focus on ST now.

Your list is CB heavy but would be a shame to lose any of our latest CB picks to waivers
