PUP:
QB 13 Brock Purdy(2025)

Nice I agree with most but I don't think Purdy starts on PUP, I think he'll be good to go. If so whose your first player out? I think for me it would be Hartsfield, think we roll with 4 safety's. I think also Jaylen Moore makes it over Zakelj or Poe. I think we need that extra backup OT, both Feliciano and 1 of Zakelj or Poe can fill in at all 3 interior OL spots. Plus Moore can play some G if needed. Moore provided that extra G/T flexibility where zakelj/Poe are interior only
I thought this is the year where we don't get a free pass on Guti? If that's the case, I am not sure he even makes the PS.
Went ahead and changed the thread title since we all seem to be using this one lol.

Nice, AB…I think the two things that stand out are:

1.Picking up the "Gravedigger" was a huge addition, and
2. When looking at this list, one can see how the F.O figured they would not be hurt by having no picks until comps at end of rd 3, which hopefully netted us a younger , lot less expensive version of Good as Gould.

Thanks Doc, and yes I agree with both points, Gould would have cost us like $5M a yr, Moody like $1.3M a yr, big difference.

I think the only thing I'd change is Hyder over Bryant. I think his inside out versatility wins that last spot.

I would try & trade DFF to get out of his $750K base guarantee.
In reality Kinlaw needs to go and is wasting a roster spot on the d line. We need that spot for Hyder. but i would drop Bryant for Hyder. Just can't trust Kinlaw and Davis as behind AA, and Hargrove.

Here's an article u may have already seen regarding his recovery time and possible contract going forward.

Looks to be some what of a wild card they're holding on to.

We're all aware of it, but looking back to your May roster, and then looking at current one, the huge thing that just jumps off the page is ….Gravedigger. Compared to our projected DL back in May, the DL looked good but was not jump-out-of-your-shorts awesome. Now…sheesh…Hargrove added to your May proposed roster…just jumps off the page and screams "YIKES". I wonder what this year's opponents thot of our DL? If this
DL doesn't give them nightmares, nothing will.

Also i think the abruptness of it, with never any indication we were looking for a talent like his, took most everyone by surprise. Basically that was just our GM and HC, always thinking and looking for a way to massively improve. I think JL/KS fooled us all . When someone asked about the strength our our team , the DL came first….and then they went out and made it better…way better. Hats off to our GM/HC.

Great post here doc, I'm getting flashbacks to 2019 just overwhelming teams at the point of attack.
