PUP/IR/NFI: CB Darrell Luter Jr., WR Danny Gray, WR RayRay McCloud, Robert Beal, Kalia Davis

Not bad OTC, If I had to make 1 or 2 adjustments, I'd keep Dee Winters over DFF, I think Dee won't pass waivers, and we can trade DFF to get off his $750K Guarantee.

Also Ambry to LCB, Lenoir to SCB for now since that's how they played last night.

Other than that, can't really argue with anything, agree on the 4 IR or PUP guys, unless Ray-Ray is ready week 1, then Conley to PS, doesn't go thru waivers. Also I think Dwelley makes it over Woerner, due to the $700K GTD, still hate that & DFF signings.

I like Winters but the team seems to have some crazy love of DFF. He ran with the ones, as did Woerner and Conley when Gray went out, if I recall right.

I think the team will roll the dice with seeing if we can get Winters on the PS. Graham is being cross trained at all three spots. They also seem to like Burks for his special teams ability.

Can we trade Dwelley?

Side note, I'm super glad Hyder only had a stinger. He's for sure among our top four DE. I also like how Ferrell is doing. If Jackson takes the step up, I like our 4 man rotation. It sounds like Wilks is planning on using Kinlaw as both a DT and oversized DE in his scheme.

AB, I knew you would correct me. So instead of looking up the rules online, I was lazy and just waited for you to correct me. Thank you.

So to be on short term IR, players need to make the initial 53, correct?

I like it. Give any thought to Watson over Moore? He may not be ready and Moore has done it in real games, but he looks like butt. I am worried about that swing Tackle position. Speaking of which, Thank you for getting Manning on the 53 . I don't care where he plays on the line just as long as he is somewhere on the 53. But man I am worried about that OL depth.

I like Dwelly over Woerner as well. At least he has shown up. Sounds like Latu can block so if the pass catching...umm challenges, that hopefully disappeared last night, continue to be an issue, at least we can make him block.

Good point on DFF, I hope you're wrong, I don't want to lose Winters, rather deal DFF for a draft pick, even a mid-late rd pick would do.

Good point on Woerner, & Conley didn't see them initially with the 1s, but now remember it, Conley came in when Gray went back to locker room. I hope we trade Dwelley, saves $1.08M total.

Glad Hyder is a stinger, hope he's ready, do you like Bryant at all? He has $550K GTD, just hate eating cap room, but if Hyder is the better player, keep him.

Didn't know that about Kinlaw, we'll see how it works out.

You lazy SOB lol jk, I have no issues with helping out fellow 49ers fans, and clarifying when needed.

And yes to be on short term IR you need to make the initial 53, so a player like Hyder or Conley could be cut, then signed back the next day, since they're vested veterans with 4 or more years accrued.

I would love to see someone out play Moore, but it seems like the 49ers are high on him, Watson, Moore, the rest besides Manning have been meh, just went with the draft pick(former pick) over Watson, but can see Watson winning the spot.

Dwelley to me has made plays, where Woerner struggles to make plays, more of a blocker, and Latu improved after week 1, also like Willis, so hoping those 3 with Kittle as the 4 TEs if we go 4.

Im actually in this camp. I'm leaning towards both Graham and Winters getting in.

No Beal & Davis on IR? Taco likely gets an injury settlement, Averett already got one.

I doubt they cut/trade Odum, 2nd team All-Pro last year for ST work.

Where's Burks? He's currently hurt, can't release a hurt player, either he makes the 53, then IR'd, or IR'd lost for season.

I doubt Kinlaw gets traded or cut, not sure someone will take him on, I hope I'm wrong, I'd rather keep McGill over him.

Beal and Davis have been working on the sidelines so they'll go to the PS with a late start. True about Taco. Bummer.

I like Odum and Burks but they are older and there is younger talent in front of them who can play positions well and help on ST too. Plus it looks like they'll just have Moody kick off out of the EZ. We have fast enough gunners for punts. So their value isn't once what it was, IMHO. True, Burks to IR [PCL)..

I just can't keep Kinlaw. He's just not a good football player...at all. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses and move on. Those backup inside DT spots are too important right now. We're thin and can't afford another hope and development year.

Bryant gets pushed around too easily and looks terrible against the run IMO. Give me Hyder over him all day.

If we can trade DFF I'm all for it, the bottom line for me is I think Graham and Winters have more long term upside and better players on defense.

I'm leaning towards the rookies and DFF making the 53 over McCrary-Ball. DFF seems to be a club favorite. He's also a solid special teams player who played the 4th most snaps there last year on the team. The rookies I believe offer greater long term potential. Burks will also stick because of his special teams abilities. Just my opinion.
