Interesting. Kyle said he wants Trey to get reps with the ones eventually.
Spent the day watching the #49ers offense. Had Jimmy Garoppolo at 9-of-17 and Trey Lance at 12-of-17 on the day. Garoppolo started 7-8 and then struggled down the stretch, including an interception to Asante Samuel Jr. in the red zone. He also hit a deep TD to Travis Benjamin.

Garoppolo was also 6-of-6 in 7-on-7, which included an impressive jump ball catch by TE George Kittle. Kittle followed in team drills by holding up well pass blocking against Joey Bosa which allowed FB Kyle Juszczyk to get loose for a big catch from Garoppolo.

Lance again found himself facing a lot of pressure, as I had him down for being sacked five times. He was at his best in red zone drills, hitting TE Ross Dwelley and WR Jauan Jennings for touchdowns.

#Chargers DE Joey Bosa got by for a sack against Garoppolo and knocked ball out of his hand, which is a no-no. Bosa apologized right away: "He sounds just like Nick...you're upset at the time but you hear him say 'Sorry, Jim,' at the same time, it's just a Bosa thing, I guess."

I dont know how Jessie Naylor can have that caption to that video. Its almost as if the video was ignored. While Kyle didnt say this is a competition, this is the most he has alluded to it so far.
